About Cable Matters Ultra High Speed HDMI Certified 48Gbps Long 8K HDMI Cable
Overall Feedback:
92% positive
84% highlighted the signal integrity, but 16% found it inconsistent
I faced issues with the cables while trying to pass 4K HDR image from a Roku Ultra or a Oppo BDP-103D player and also had problems with 4K Direct TV receiver. Therefore, I recommend not getting these cables.
85% were impressed with connector type
I swapped all the cables in my entertainment setup and found it convenient to have colored ends to identify connections.
I appreciate the 3 different color codings of the cables. It is easy to assign and distinguish which cable is going where.
90% were satisfied with compatibility, whereas 10% weren't
Fusion8k cables offer exceptional picture and sound quality, with notable improvements in visual clarity and audio fidelity, especially when working with high-end AV equipment.
I verified that high speed 2.1 cables work on current gen consoles and deliver maximum frame rates and speeds, even when connected through an HDMI 2.1 designated splitter.
I was not convinced about the certification of the cable as it came without the QR code to verify the certification status, which shows my negative feedback with respect to the compatibility of HDMI cables.
84% liked the cable thickness
These cables are well constructed with a beefy thickness, which may deter cats from chewing through them.
I faced issues with the cables while trying to pass 4K HDR image from a Roku Ultra or a Oppo BDP-103D player and also had problems with 4K Direct TV receiver. Therefore, I recommend not getting these cables.
I noticed that the cable's data rate was labeled as 4k but actually it was 10 GB/s. However, after switching to the Ultra 4k cable with a data rate of 48 GB/s, I immediately noticed a difference in picture quality.
This HDMI cable produces a great picture on the TV comparable to the expensive brand and feels sturdy with quality materials.
