The Beechmore journal has a specific page layout with heavier paper and wider spaced lines, allowing for 24 lines per page and 160 pages (80 sheets, both sides).
The pages are thick, cream colored and lined.
I like the page layout of the notebook with no margin, a slimline header at the top and no page numbers.
The pages in my notebook feel more premium with nicely spaced lines compared to similar ones.

I find that the pen writes smoothly and the ink doesn't spread or run when using a fountain pen.
I have had problems with ink leak in the past, but this notebook has thick quality paper which has solved that problem.
I have noticed that the ink shows shading, sheen and no feathering, bleed through and almost zero ghosting.
The notebook is compatible with every brand of ink and can also be used with watercolors and pastels.
