About Garmin Tread Powersport Off-Road Navigator
70% praised for its pinpoint accuracy, but 30% experienced occasional errors
The Garmin device is easy to use and operate, unlike our previous ones.
The handheld GPS unit is pretty accurate most of the time, but there were a couple of instances where it drifted a few hundred feet. I'm not sure why, but it could be due to the satellite being on the edge of the horizon.
70% appreciated its long-lasting battery, but 30% found it drained quickly
I hope the battery life lasts, but it seems kind of speedy.
I received the Garmin Tread Overland and found it to be well-built, sturdy, with a great screen and easy to operate.
I used the handheld GPS unit to plot a path with a difficulty level of 2 to go see Picture Frame Arch.
I was unable to download the satellite views for off-roading and such because it required a paid subscription. This led me to believe that the battery life may not be good enough to support such heavy usage.
77% liked the clear display, but 23% found it hard to read in bright light
Pushing the onscreen button to talk in group mode is tricky as it is placed on the right top corner of the screen, making it tough on motorcycles.
68% found the interface intuitive and easy to use, but 32% found it confusing
Garmin is easy to use and operate, unlike my previous ones.
The user interface is poor.
