I have not used everything on the gadget yet.
I did not mention the device's storage capacity.
The Foretrex does not have maps and requires the user to create them by dropping waypoints and labeling them. The trackback feature can be used to navigate back to the starting point, and preloaded waypoints can be selected or a longitude & latitude point can be manually entered for navigation. The bearing, distance, and ETA will be displayed.
