About Garmin 010-02036-07 Drive 52 and Traffic, GPS Navigator with 5 Display
Overall Feedback:
77% positive
69% praised for its pinpoint accuracy, but 31% experienced occasional errors
Garmin's map data is not accurate for our area.
I am disappointed with the accuracy of the directions as they do not provide directions at major intersections and miss some roads entirely.
I find the software weak in terms of accuracy.
The maps are 98% accurate, but there are dead ends and missing directions in some places. I have faced this issue in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
63% appreciated its long-lasting battery, but 37% found it drained quickly
After recharging, my battery life was not good and it could not last for more than 15 minutes. I already reduced the brightness and volume to under 50%.
I am dissatisfied with the battery life of the GPS unit. It only lasts for 15 minutes or so, making it a joke.
I am dissatisfied with the GPS unit's battery life. It seems quite short and is almost useless when not powered by the car.
The battery life is not good and it doesn't last long. It's a pain to keep it plugged in because of the standard shift card and the cord gets tangled up.
The battery life is poor and drains too fast, and the unit feels like it's running on a near-expired battery despite the $200 price tag.
The battery life of my Garmin is only about 2-3 days and I faced the same issue with my previous Garmin device.
72% liked the clear display, but 28% found it hard to read in bright light
My device has a nice screen, but it doesn't utilize it properly.
When using the GPS unit in hot weather, the screen overheats and requires a sun shield or something in the back to prevent this.
64% appreciated the ample storage capacity, but 36% found it limited
The GPS has enough memory to cover the entire USA many times over.
The battery life of my Garmin is only 2-3 days and I faced the same problem with my previous Garmin device.
67% found the interface intuitive and easy to use, but 33% found it confusing
I quickly got used to the interface after a little practice.
As a long time TomTom user, I find the user interface of Garmin to be totally different. TomTom is simpler to use. However, I love how fast this Garmin pairs with satellite and finds a route compared to TomTom. Garmin needs to improve their UI and this would be 5 stars.
I am not satisfied with the interface and size of the product.
The user interface is pretty good, but I was expecting more from the voice command feature. Unfortunately, it never seems to understand me.
65% praised its water resistance, but 35% experienced water damage
I think Garmin can build a GPS that can withstand the rigors of a car dash.
I am disappointed with the accuracy of the directions. It failed to provide directions at a major intersection and missed some roads entirely. I have tested it on routes I know.
I am satisfied with the product and look forward to using it for another 4-5 years.
