About Taclight Max LED Rechargeable Flashlight
Overall Feedback:
81% positive
67% appreciated its adjustable beam focus, although 33% found it limited
I prefer a simpler on/off mechanism as the current system of 5 pushes to cycle through all light modes before turning off is annoying and wears on my hand. Alternatively, I suggest a toggle switch to put the light in multi-function mode would be a better option.
74% appreciated its long-lasting battery life, but 26% experienced quick drainage
I have not used the product enough to rate its power longevity.
When I plugged in the light without the battery, it worked fine. But when I put in the battery, it stopped working and wouldn't charge.
The flashlight's battery life is not good as it runs down quickly.
76% were satisfied with its brightness, while 24% found it dim
I have personally experienced the flashlight's 3 different brightness levels, strobe light, and SOS flashing option, which can be charged with a regular USB connection.
I noticed that the beam is not as bright as advertised on TV commercials.

73% praised for its rugged construction, but 27% experienced durability issues
On the first day, the rubber tab over the charging outlet broke, indicating poor durability of the product.
I recommend using it around the house only as the battery is nonstandard and cannot be charged without power, making it unsuitable for car or disaster use.
There is no lens cap to protect the inner light, making it not waterproof.
While connecting the cable, the waterproof cover for the jack came off and it doesn't seem replaceable.
68% liked its comfortable grip and handling, though 32% found it awkward
I find it annoying to have to go through 5 pushes to go through every light mode before turning off, which wears on my hand and button.
63% liked the intuitive switch and interface, but 37% found it confusing
I am dissatisfied with the multi-flashing modes and hope that the makers would replace them with a simple on-and-off switch.
I would prefer a simpler on/off switch instead of the current 5 pushes to go through every light mode before turning off. It's annoying and wears on my hand.

I am disappointed that the flashlight requires toggling through all options to turn it off.
65% appreciated its water and shock resistance, but 35% experienced issues
I prefer a simpler on/off mechanism as the current system of 5 pushes to cycle through all light modes before turning off is annoying and wears on my hand. Alternatively, I suggest a toggle switch to put the light in multi-function mode would be a better option.
The focusing expander may look like a machine screw design, but it's just window dressing. The slider narrows the beam with smooth action back and forth, achieving a perfectly acceptable resolution.
The flashlight has a feature where the front section can be slid back and forth to adjust the focus from long range spotlight to a wide flood light and anything in between.
