About DEWALT 20V MAX LED Work Light / Flashlight (DCL040)
Overall Feedback:
98% positive
92% appreciated its long-lasting battery life
I have forgotten and left this flashlight under houses or under counters or attics overnight and the next morning it was still burning with a very long battery life.
97% were satisfied with its brightness
The flashlight produces a focused light that is fairly bright. It can be used to illuminate work areas, but it is not meant to illuminate the whole room.
96% praised for its rugged construction
This flashlight typically lasts 9 to 11 hours with a long battery life.
The light has exceeded my expectations with good quality, although I haven't asked much of it yet.
This flashlight is very durable and can withstand being dropped in water, from ceilings, sprayed by water and everyday wear and tear. It also burns very little energy.
94% liked its comfortable grip and handling
This flashlight can be useful to illuminate the work area in crawl spaces or areas without light.
The feel of the light is quality, just like all of my other Dewalt tools.
I recommend getting belt clips or D-rings for the flashlight as it is ergonomically designed for handheld use.
95% liked the intuitive switch and interface
The light illuminates a nice path with plenty of light.
I have forgotten and left this flashlight under houses or under counters or attics overnight and the next morning it was still burning with a very long battery life.
When the body of the light is expanded, it becomes very useful as a work light for working on cars, under sinks or anyplace else you need a bright light over a wide area.
I prefer a simpler on/off mechanism as the current system of 5 pushes to cycle through all light modes before turning off is annoying and wears on my hand. Alternatively, I suggest a toggle switch to put the light in multi-function mode would be a better option.
