About Anker Rechargeable Bolder LC90 LED Flashlight, Pocket-Sized Torch with Super Bright 900 Lumens CREE LED
88% appreciated its adjustable beam focus, although 12% found it limited
As I adjust the beam from widest to farthest setting, the beam pattern stays evenly illuminated with no annoying center dark spot.
Sometimes the switch turns on in strobe mode and it's unpredictable.
The flashlight has a feature of adjusting light modes, but it is not user-friendly and requires constant clicking through modes to get back to the desired one.
83% appreciated its long-lasting battery life, but 17% experienced quick drainage
On the brightest setting, I'll need to recharge the battery periodically as the battery life is average.
I am returning the product and trying to find an original lc90 secondhand or something. Thus, I cannot comment on the battery life.
The battery life is not as long as expected, which compelled me to purchase a whole new unit. This resulted in negative feedback.
I am concerned about the battery life of my handheld flashlight. The battery is not accessible and cannot be changed if it survives longer than the initial battery life. This is a major issue for me, as I need to use the flashlight for 2-3 day trips with no charging access.

82% were satisfied with its brightness, while 18% found it dim
The flashlight has a second brightness setting that is less intense for indoor use and is very bright.
At night, I easily illuminate several hundred feet with the beam being very bright.
The flashlight is bright but starts in strobe mode unpredictably, which is annoying and potentially dangerous.
82% praised for its rugged construction
I have dropped this flashlight many times from waist height onto concrete without damaging the case or lens. It is very rugged.
75% liked its comfortable grip and handling, though 25% found it awkward
The head of the flashlight rattles when shaken, indicating poor ergonomics of the product.
74% liked the intuitive switch and interface, but 26% found it confusing
The switch of this flashlight is unpredictable. It turns on in strobe mode or stays on the same brightness setting as used last time. It may be related to how long I used it or how long it sat between uses.
If I turn the switch off and then back on quickly, it goes to the next setting.
It takes four out of five pushes to use it for 10 seconds before I can use it again.
I returned the flashlight because it changes modes without any added button presses and the method of selecting light modes is difficult.
86% appreciated its water and shock resistance, but 14% experienced issues
I have not personally tested the water resistance, but I imagine it to be as good as any other and am certain it would be fine in heavy rain due to the build quality and tightness of moving parts/seals.
I did not find any information or experience related to water and shock resistance of handheld-flashlights in the review text.
86% liked its lightweight and compact design
I bought two of these handheld flashlights because they are portable and easy to carry around.
On our safari and service project in Tanzania, the flashlight's charge lasted for many nights.
