About ACEBEAM Pokelit AA Rechargeable Mini Flashlight
Overall Feedback:
85% positive
83% appreciated its adjustable beam focus, although 17% found it limited
If only it was easy to switch between brightness settings, this flashlight would be great.
I find it difficult to press the tail switch and cycling through the 3 light ranges is also challenging.
I compared the adjustability of the handheld flashlight with another product and found that the other product has simpler and better adjustability.
I need one more low-ish setting on the light.
83% appreciated its long-lasting battery life, but 17% experienced quick drainage
My main issue with this light is its battery life. I tested it and found that it lasts for 3 hours and 5 minutes on medium brightness setting. When compared with Streamlight Microstream non-rechargeable, it simply can't keep up. However, when compared with Streamlight, it lasted for 4 hours and 55 minutes with a brand new standard AAA.
The battery life is fairly short and the collar around the bulb gets hot within just a minute or two of continuous use.
The battery life is short.
I charged the battery before using it, but it did not last even a day with minimal usage.
After only a few uses, the flashlight is no longer bright.
83% were satisfied with its brightness
The new flashlight works correctly with three brightness levels.
I am amazed at the brightness of this flashlight, despite its small size.
81% praised for its rugged construction, but 19% experienced durability issues
The handheld flashlight is highly water-resistant and can withstand daily sludge coverage and red giant soak to remove grease.
I am frustrated with the fine print of the ACEBEAM User Manual and question the importance of product documentation.
I accidentally knocked over my first Acebeam flashlight and it broke on the first day. It couldn't survive a 3-foot drop.
81% liked its comfortable grip and handling, though 19% found it awkward
The tail switch feels stiff and squishy.
76% liked the intuitive switch and interface, but 24% found it confusing
The tail switch is too hard to press and cycling through the 3 light ranges is very difficult because of its stiffness.
For pocket carry, the proud tail switch and included rechargeable battery combination could be problematic.
The flashlight's design flaw in the tail switch requires 7 lb of pressure to turn it on, making it difficult to switch between modes.
The tail switch is unbelievably stiff, spoiling the user experience. However, the light has an outstanding High CRI beam.
79% appreciated its water and shock resistance
I can use the product daily without worrying about water damage as it is highly water resistant and can withstand exposure to sludge and soaking in red giant to remove grease.
87% liked its lightweight and compact design
I am happy with the light and have made it my main EDC light because it is easy to carry and portable.
The dual-clip is holding up well and it's not too heavy to clip onto my hat.
The light has multiple useful modes, including the ability to adjust brightness levels, and I can adjust the brightness by holding the button on the side.
