I had high hopes for the product, but it failed me when the knob controlling the extension arm broke off in the field. I had only made about 50 cuts when I tried to extend the arm.

I found that conventional loppers were too heavy and required lots of effort for my wife. These lightweight aluminum extendable handles gave her the extra leverage needed to prune larger diameter limbs and to do more of them before fatigue sets in.

The arms have bent and I feel like they might break if I continue using them on hardwood tree branches. They work fine on softwoods and vines, but I would not recommend them for general purpose use.
