About GARTOL Heavy-Duty Extendable Anvil Lopper 2841" Telescopic Tree Branch Cutter
Overall Feedback:
93% positive
89% found it easy to use
The Gatrol lopper cuts softwoods like butter even without extending the handles. Fast growing oak or maple will probably cut fairly easy, but slow growing wood of any type is more difficult to cut.
I found that the ratcheting mechanism of the trimmer makes cutting large branches easy.
86% appreciated its lightweight and portable design, though 14% found it bulky
Fully extending the handles makes it very unwieldy, indicating that the hand-lopper is not very portable.
91% praised for its built-in safety features
I found that cutting the boxwood bush with the Gatrol lopper took some muscle, but it was better than using a chain saw and risking injury. The hand-lopper's safety feature was utilized and based on my experience, I can say that it is a better option.

The trimmer has a large, strong blade that cuts through branches and stems easily. It requires some effort to open and close, which feels like a mini workout.
I have noticed that the blade is supposed to be hardened but it bends under cutting forces.
Rephrased: The blade bends under cutting forces despite being supposed to be hardened.
I can cut thicker 3 to 4 inch branches with the loppers extended to give it torque and power due to the ratcheting action.
