During the first season, the tool worked perfectly, but in the second season, the anvil opposite the cutting blade developed severe corrosion, even though I cleaned it with a steel brush and oiled it with WD-40 after each use. By the third season, the anvil was completely corroded away and the tool was unusable.
After six months of use, the blade broke and I found it too brittle for the quality of the shear.
