About Corona Tools | Branch Cutter DualLINK Extendable Bypass Loppers
85% praised for its sharp cutting performance
The cutting power of these loppers is impressive compared to ones I've used in the past. They can cut through thick branches and saplings easily. I even used them to cut old, dead branches from my hemlocks, which is usually difficult. The Corona DualLINK with ComfortGEL Grip Extendable Heavy Duty Bypass Limb and Branch Lopper had no problems at all.
I can cut through branches and limbs of 2 inches or more in thickness with this tool's blades, which is more than advertised, and it cuts through them like butter.
83% appreciated the long-lasting blade, though 17% experienced wear and tear
The build quality is top notch and the blades effortlessly cut through branches and limbs 2 inches plus in thickness. I am confident that these blades will last a long time without any future problems.
I have complained that the lopper lacks durability and the black cutting head became dull after 4-hours of use. This resulted in me having to make cuts with the lopper at a 90-degree angle perpendicular to branches, and snipping small twigs became 'munching/chewing' rather than snipping.
I suggest making the hand-loppers of structural aluminum or fiberglass.
I noticed that the blade broke easily, indicating poor tempering.
88% found it easy to use, but 12% found it difficult
The handles of this trimmer do not need to open as far as my other trimmer to get the same space with the blade.
The operation of my jaw feels a little awkward and dull.
85% liked the comfortable grip and ergonomic design, but 15% found it uncomfortable
The grips of the hand-loppers are comfortable and big enough to cover large hands. They don't slip or twist, providing a sturdy grip.
The orange plastic hand grip slides off when holding it with one hand. It was dangerous as it slipped off and missed the top of my foot by an inch.
After several hours, the square handles become tiring and frustrating as they do not rotate.
83% praised for its built-in safety features, although 17% found them inadequate
When holding it with one hand, the orange plastic hand grip slides off and almost hit my foot, indicating a safety concern with the product.
