I want a well-constructed caulk gun made of heavier gauge metal with good welds that will not break down after a few hours of use. The gun should be heavy enough not to flex when under trigger stress, but not too heavy that my arm feels it after a while. The trigger mechanism should be solid, smooth and not be built to break down after a year. It should also be solid enough to survive short distance falls occasionally off a step ladder.
The gun is made of high quality materials that are durable and easy to clean.

When I release the handle, the caulk stops flowing, but it flows perfectly when I push the handle.
