The main problem with this caulking gun is cleaning. It has deep gear teeth, spring loaded slides holding the tubes, some unnecessary small radius concave curves added to the back of the piston head, and a screw on connector attaching the tube holder to the gun with small crevices.
78% found it quiet and easy to use, while 22% experienced loud operation
For visible jobs like caulking bath and shower areas, sinks, etc., I find that the motorized continuous flow and ability to slow the speed down for control helps make a much nicer finished job.
I was able to put 2 large tubes of polyurethane caulk through it without any problem.
I did not mention the noise level of the hand-caulking-guns.

I have noticed that the tubes squeeze material out the back, which oozes into the tool's piston and gears, and the crevices around the screw threads. This makes it difficult to clean the tool and I have spent more time cleaning it than dispensing material.
