The blender has a lot of power and blended the soup smoothly in about 20 seconds.

I find the immersion blender difficult to clean, especially the top of the dome of its head. I had to use a small spatula to dig out the mayo stuck in there. The scrub brush doesn't reach all the way into the space, so I bought a longer one to accommodate it. I also plan to try running it in soapy water on high to see if that helps.
