When I blend fruit for my smoothie with the hand-blender, it suctions to the bottom of the cups. If I put it too close to the bottom of the cup, it will actually pull down on it and force itself onto the bottom. It's kinda hard to unsuction it while it's still on, but it's only because it's super powerful.
