It's unfortunate that there are no instructions to not touch the bulbs without using a clean glove or plain tissue. I know that getting finger oil on the small bulb surface and then subjecting them to heat will cause them to burn out quickly.

I warn you not to buy this product as it is of poor quality and does not last long. I bought it for my under cabinet lights thinking it would last ages but had to replace it at least twice, if not three times, and now I am out of it again. It has not even been a year since I received it.
