I was impressed that I could mount the gun-sight on my firearm after dropping it on the concrete garage floor right out of the packaging.
The controls are easy to use with an on/off button, brightness adjustment, and windage/elevation knobs.
There are two options to mount the optic, and one of them is to mount it high to get the cowitness with/over the iron sights.
The gun-sight has a very secure fit and comes with both a low mount and a high 'see through' riser mount.

I noticed that the dot is sharp when looking through the sight but it was pretty distorted when aiming against the paper target.
While using the first half of brightness settings, the sight picture is clear, but it turns red on higher settings.
For rapid target acquisition, the dot size might be an issue for some users, especially those with less-than-perfect eyesight.
