About GHFY Tactical Drop Leg Holster, Thigh Pistol Gun Holster
Overall Feedback:
86% positive
89% highlighted the retention adjustment
I find the straps easy to adjust and the excess strap easy to run through the clasps to get them out of the way.
The locking snap seats snugly and pops open with a responsible amount of force. The built-in Velcro strap ensures that my piece will not unholster even if the snap accidentally unlocks.
86% highlighted the material durability
I bought the holster for backcountry hiking because it's difficult to holster with a 40lb pack on.
The holster is made of high quality grade cordura fabric and high grade nylon webbing with flawless stitching.
83% found it easy to attach
The holster straps are easy to adjust and excess strap can be easily run through the clasps to get them out of the way.
85% appreciated the comfort and fit, yet 15% faced discomfort
The holster fits my full size SD9VE with Baldrpro full size light perfectly and also fits my 9mm shield without any further adjusting.
I found the holster to be suboptimal at first, but I made it fit better by removing the buckle or running the belt through the lowest loop.
The manufacturer should make the straps different sizes to better fit the natural shape of thighs, with the top strap being longer than the bottom.
82% were satisfied with the accessibility, but 18% weren't
The holster sits at the knee out of the package, but it can be optimized by removing the buckle or running the belt through the lowest loop to fit on the thigh.
The holster didn't work for me. Even with my subcompact and red dot, the strap that secures it in place doesn't sit right.
This holster is comfortable and does not have the problem of Velcro being too long and overlapping past the contact pad, which I have faced with most ankle holsters I have use.
The holster holds and retains my gun well, but if it was my only holster, I would want something that held my gun tighter.
