Retention is good and the gun snaps into place with a firm tactile 'click' and will not fall out (if tension screws are adjusted correctly).
I adjusted the retention screws of the gun-holster until they wouldn't turn anymore. I can roll around on the ground with it set like this and it won't fall out, it has to be forcefully pulled. Based on my experience, I can say that the retention adjustment feature of the gun-holster is excellent.

The materials are strong and can withstand normal wear and tear of everyday carry, but there will be holster wear due to the material.
The holster's plastic seems durable and I don't see how expensive holsters have better plastic.
