About Ibanez MTZ MTZ11 Quick Access Multi Tool
Overall Feedback:
88% positive
80% appreciated the precise bridge and nut adjustments
I can use this tool for adjusting the Floyd Rose locking nut.
90% appreciated its rugged construction, but 10% experienced breakage
I have not experienced any wear or stripping of the screwdrivers. The quality of the metal used to make the tools is good.
I have a tool with high quality heat treated phillips head drivers and a compact size.
I feel that the parts are sturdy, indicating good durability of the product.
The tools are fixed inside a thick casing and often fail to reach the parts of the instrument, indicating poor durability of our guitar tools.
78% praised for its help in diagnosing electronic issues, while 22% found it unclear
I have been using this tool for about a year now to tweak and set up my guitars. I have done full guitar set-ups with it including adjusting truss-rods, bridge and pickup heights, intonation, and other jobs on multiple different guitars.
I can easily strip down the guitar to neck and body and rebuild it back up without the need of any other tools.
All the tool heads are sturdy.
This tool is only suitable for emergency situations as it is too fiddly, cumbersome, and difficult to use once deployed.
The allen keys and screwdrivers are not useful for me as they don't reach far enough into the truss rod housing and the thick handle makes adjustments difficult.
77% liked the comfortable grip, but 23% found it awkward to hold
I have all the right keys for truss rod and Floyd Rose adjust, high quality heat treated phillips head drivers and a compact size.
Sometimes the handle/casing of this tool can get in the way of certain jobs, especially when working on guitars with screws on the bottom-side of the bridge.
I find the tools to be non-ergonomic and difficult to adjust. The allen keys and screwdrivers do not reach far enough into the truss rod housing.
82% liked the effective fretboard cleaning
I can use the tool to strip down the guitar to neck and body, rebuild it back up without any other tools, measure string height, and make full bridge adjustments.
The tool is easy to handle and compact to store due to its weight and the way the tools are held in place.
I have all the necessary tools to service the guitar, except for big repairs or component installations.
77% found it easy to wind strings, but 23% experienced difficulties
I am satisfied with the quality of the metal used to make the tools, indicating ease of use and durability.
I find it difficult to adjust the string winding because the allen keys do not reach far enough into the truss rod housing.
This tool is difficult to use and only good for emergency purposes.

Setting the radius of the guitar tool is a trial and error process, and even small movements of the adjusting wheel result in huge changes in the radius.

After filing the nut slots following the readings on the gauge as well as Music Nomad video tutorial, my guitar plays much better now.
