About ValueMax Mini Grease Gun Kit (3500 PSI) with 3 OZ Grease
Overall Feedback:
74% positive
69% liked the variety of compatible accessories, while 31% found limited options
I have found that the 4 jaw coupler works great and there is no leaking after tightening the nut once on the fitting.
I find the cylinder of the grease gun too narrow to accept the grease tube.
The draw handle doesn't stay locked to the rear, causing grease to shoot out of the top of the grease gun and land on my shirt, pants, and driveway.
63% appreciated the easy cleaning process, but 37% found it tedious
I suggest cleaning the grease gun by applying a light film of red and tacky to the container, wiping off any residue with a paper towel and a little alcohol. The gun will stay clean unless my hands are dirty.
After greasing the tube and cleaning out the cylinder, I was able to get it most of the way in, but it still wouldn't go all the way in.
I found the grease gun nearly empty with only 20% capacity and appearing to have been on its side for a long time.
After loading the cartridge, I got less than 1 pump of grease out of it. When I unscrewed the canister, I found no grease.
I wasted a $6 tube of grease because the plunger refused to lock.
69% appreciated its rugged construction, though 31% experienced breakage
The grease gun is well-built with no leaks once the cartridge is loaded. It's a great product.
I think the product was inexpensively manufactured and seems to be of low quality.
I could not unscrew the plug in the top port and it seems to be sealed with Locktite red which needs heat to loosen. This could be an issue with the durability of the grease gun.
I loaded the cartridge for use the next day but only got less than 1 pump of grease out of it.
I found the grease gun nearly empty with only 20% capacity and it appeared to have been on its side for a long time.
I strongly advise against buying this grease gun, it's a 'cheap piece of crap'.
70% found it easy to reload and operate, while 30% had difficulties
This grease gun is very useful in my shop. The needle comes on with great ease and doesn't require much pressure to push or pull. I also received some tips to keep the gun clean.
I can't get the lock to stay locked no matter how I place it to put in the new cartridge.
I am having trouble pumping grease through the grease gun.
64% liked the large grease capacity, but 36% needed frequent refills
I noticed that the grease gun was almost empty, with only 20% of the capacity, and appeared to have been on its side for a long time.
The grease gun appeared to have been on its side for a long time and was almost empty with only 20% capacity.
I could only get less than 1 pump of grease out of the grease gun even after loading the cartridge, which was not enough for use the next day.
69% liked the long and flexible hose
I bought a 4-inch locking grease head and love it. It's better than having the heads pop off the fitting.
I use a small hand operated grease gun with a Lucas quick disconnect to attach the fittings.
64% praised for its leak-free design, though 36% experienced spills
Once the cartridge is loaded, there are no leaks and nothing comes out the bottom of the canister where the fuel rod goes in.
I had to retrieve the grease that bypassed the plunger into the canister by pulling the plunger lever back, resulting in a mess.
The grease gun leaks and shoots out grease on my shirt, pants, and driveway.
I was unhappy when the grease-gun let loose and shot grease all over the place.
64% praised for its quiet operation, while 36% found it too loud
I have seen other brands shipped with plungers installed backwards, but once fixed seem to be fine.
I have not mentioned the noise level of the grease-gun.
I removed the foil cover and experienced a sudden and uncontrollable release of grease, resulting in a mess.
64% praised for its high pressure output, while 36% found it too weak
I loaded the cartridge the next day and got less than 1 pump of grease out of it.
Once I screwed everything together, the accessory worked great.
