I have found that the 4 jaw coupler works great and there is no leaking after tightening the nut once on the fitting.

I suggest cleaning the grease gun by applying a light film of red and tacky to the container, wiping off any residue with a paper towel and a little alcohol. The gun will stay clean unless my hands are dirty.

I think the product was inexpensively manufactured and seems to be of low quality.
I could not unscrew the plug in the top port and it seems to be sealed with Locktite red which needs heat to loosen. This could be an issue with the durability of the grease gun.
