About UTOOL Grease Gun, 8000 PSI Heavy Duty Pistol Grip Grease Gun Set
Overall Feedback:
69% positive
80% liked the variety of compatible accessories, while 20% found limited options
All necessary accessories to get started with the product were included, except for the grease.
The grease gun has extra attachments, which is a positive aspect of the product.
I had trouble removing the first zerk fitting and now the second one is broken off and stuck in the pre-installed hose connection. The zerk fitting is not right.
The tips of my grease gun are made of soft metal and have a few nicks from latching on and not wanting to come off, no matter how much I wiggle it.
84% appreciated the easy cleaning process, but 16% found it tedious
I had a small issue with the fittings while using the product. It is advised to tighten the fittings well before use to avoid any leakage of grease.
I faced a problem with the spring once. It was hard to pull back and after taking it apart, I found it was wadded with grease. After washing it with parts cleaner, I managed to get it working normally again. Other than that, I had no problems.
I wasted a lot of grease while trying to clean the grease off the wrong side of the plunger and refill the cartridge again.
I received a used grease gun that was covered in grease inside and out, indicating poor cleaning and maintenance of the product.
80% found it comfortable to hold and use, while 20% experienced fatigue
This grease gun is much more comfortable and easier to use compared to my previous one.
The tips of my grease gun are made of soft metal and they latch on to the machine, making it difficult to remove.
73% appreciated its rugged construction, though 27% experienced breakage
I had concerns about the product's durability due to its aluminum construction, but I don't think it will be an issue in the long term.
I did not mention the durability of the grease gun.
I paid extra for this thinking it would last, but it didn't make it through one tube of grease before it stopped working.
The tips of my grease-gun are made of soft metal and have a few nicks on them.
I noticed that the rubber seal inside is not grease resistant and it fell apart.
72% found it easy to reload and operate, while 28% had difficulties
I found it easy to load the cartridge and use the grease gun to fill grease in the tandem wheels of my boat trailer. It generated enough pressure to grease the hubs with ease.
The side and top outlets are a nice touch and it's great that it can be filled via a bulk pneumatic connection.
The grease gun is easy to use and great, but the tips are made of soft metal and latch on, making them difficult to remove.
After using one tube of grease, my grease gun stopped working.
81% liked the large grease capacity, but 19% needed frequent refills
I am not sure if the grease gun can produce 7000psi of grease power, but it was able to service some of the more stubborn fittings.
I loaded a new grease cartridge into the gun, but when I released the plunger rod, the spring pushed all of the grease from the cartridge side of the plunger to the spring side of the plunger, making it impossible to pump grease.
81% liked the long and flexible hose, while 19% found it too stiff
I'm not sure about the 7000psi of grease power, but it does put out enough to service some of those more stubborn fittings.
The tips of my grease-gun are made of soft metal and have a few nicks on them. Sometimes they latch on and don't come off no matter how much I wiggle them.
I had an issue with the grease gun being greasy and dirty when I expected it to be clean. The spring load system was difficult to load and required a lot of strength.
84% praised for its leak-free design, though 16% experienced spills
I have noticed that the gun leaks and doesn't use a full cartridge. Additionally, the release lever is terrible and the coupler locks onto a zerk too tightly.
I have noticed that the product loses prime.
I have personally faced the issue of grease leakage with all grease guns. Despite this issue, I gave the product 3 stars.
84% praised for its quiet operation, while 16% found it too loud
I compared this grease gun with Lucas heavy duty and found it to be better. The plastic cover slips out in Lucas Heavy duty and it does not generate the same level of pressure.
I did not mention the noise level of the grease gun.
I tore the cap, the tab slipped, and the spring shot the whole unit into my knuckle.
84% praised for its high pressure output, while 16% found it too weak
I compared this grease gun with Lucas heavy duty and found it to be better. The plastic cover slips out of Lucas heavy duty and it does not generate the same level of pressure.
I am planning to modify the spring in the coupler to reduce the pressure on the 'fingers' that wrap around the zerk fitting. This indicates that the pressure output of my grease gun is high, which is causing the issue.
I faced an issue with the grease gun as it was not working properly. After reading the reviews, I found out that the problem was due to the dry rubber plunger. I solved the issue by greasing the rubber plunger and it worked flawlessly after that.
