The device is remarkably accurate, always identical to distances spoken by other golfers with the same GolfBuddy device, and better than my golf buddy's visual rangefinder.
I find this GPS device to be very accurate compared to my rangefinder, which I now only use on unfamiliar courses to find distances to hazards.
GolfBuddy has proven to be pinpoint accurate on the courses I have played so far.
The device is accurate enough to get me close to my distance, unless I have pinpoint accuracy when I hit. It is useful for me and I have used it based on my experience.

The device automatically finds the golf course and tells me which hole I am on. Pressing the button shows the distance to the center of the green. I am satisfied with its functionality.
