I find this gelatin to be sufficient for me, although it is not exactly the same as regular gelatin.
If gelatin is not mixed properly into jello or similar desserts, it can cause a grainy texture.
Agar Agar is a good vegan or vegetarian substitute for gelatin, but it cannot be substituted 1 to 1.
