About SENIX LSPG-M4 21-Inch Gas Push Lawn Mower
Overall Feedback:
95% positive
72% liked the adjustable features, but 28% found them limiting
The lawnmower is lightweight and easy to push and lift. It also has a strong motor that can cut high grass.
I learned that the height adjustment would not stay in place due to a crack underneath one wheel, causing it to shift out of placement. As a result, I had to scalp my yard a few times.
I adjusted the height of the mower to 3 of 6 and the front wheel broke off because of the cheap plastic wheel's inability to handle a buckeye nut husk.
92% liked the clean cutting performance
I can cut through even tall 12 inch fields with no problem using the mower.
I am able to cut through the thickest grass with my mower and discharge it evenly without any lumps.
92% praised the durability, while 8% experienced breakage issues
The deck of the mower is lightweight due to the thickness of the steel and plastics used, making it easy to push, lift, and even cut high grass with the strong little motor.
I have noticed that the lawn mower stops working on even small ant mound or pebble, indicating its lack of durability.
92% found it easy to operate and maneuver, while 8% had difficulties
I found the mower easy to unbox and assemble. I only had to unfold the handle, tighten it down, add oil and gas, and it started on the third pull.
Adjusting the wheel heights is very easy and the larger rear wheels make it easy to handle and maneuver the mower.
Starting the mower requires a significant amount of force on the pull cord, and the sharp plastic edge next to the handle caused a chunk of skin to be ripped off my knuckle, leaving my finger bloody.
89% praised the engine power, while 11% found it lacking
This mower has the same engine as many other brands but is half the price.
The motor seized up and made banging noises.
90% appreciated the easy maintenance, while 10% found it difficult
The deck of our mower is lightweight because of the thickness of the steel and plastics used.
The gas-mower has multiple catch features and the cross-cutting mulching works great.
I noticed gas dripping under the red primer button.
I added the oil as directed in the instructions, but after 2-3 weeks, the engine blew up while mowing the yard. This indicates poor maintenance of the gas-mower.
I tried to mow the backyard but the mower died after cutting only 10 feet. I tried to start it again many times but it did not work. I was very disappointed.
