I planted ginger root in the pots and it is growing well.
I use these pots for my anthuriums because they provide great air flow to the root system and I can easily check on the roots to see when they need water.
After re-potting my orchid in the slotted pot, I have seen new root and leaf growth and it is flowering again. I wasnt expecting this quick turn around and I am glad that I gave my orchid the optimal environment and this pot was a big part of that.
