I have found that adding the extra four foot whip to my spraying hose brings its total length to 29 feet, which works perfectly for me.
I was hoping for more flexibility like some air hoses have. The whip is thinner which gives more flexibility than the standard 1/4.

The hose that comes with the X5 is super rigid and would have made getting to various angles a real hassle. But the hose I bought is flexible enough to flip my gun to any angle.
I could not determine if the nozzle is compatible with the garden hose as I do not have the swivel attachment.
