I followed the color coding during installation and found it simple. The auto stop connector should be at the end of the hose where the sprayer is attached, and the other end should be connected to the faucet.
I suggest not leaving the fitting under pressure when connected to a metal/brass fitting as plastic threads may distort if the metal fitting heats up in the sun, causing leaks or sprays.
The garden-hose-parts-connectors leak from all items, no matter which device I install them on.
