I had to readjust the rubber washer as it was slightly larger and caused leaks due to incorrect compression.
I faced a problem with the male end leaking at the connection to a pistol grip hose nozzle, despite trying different solutions.
The valves do not last long as the screws come loose and the valve falls off.

The valve has good weight to it and is made of brass, indicating that it may be resistant to corrosion.
