I compared the sound of the garbage disposal to that of a garbage truck and was surprised and dismayed by its loud noise.

I was able to easily install it by stacking it up under books to lock in the ring as it is heavy.
Installing Moen was pretty easy. I replaced a badger with it and found it much lighter.

I have not used the disposal on bones or harder materials, so I cannot comment on its ability to grind them up.
I have noticed that the grinder gets overloaded with the rind of one orange and needs to be fed in small bites.

This garbage-disposal is very noisy and sounds more like a garbage truck than an in-sink grinder. I would not recommend it in apartment spaces with thin walls or floors.
