I left the installation job to my son and his boys. They reported that the removal and installation of the new disposal went smoothly.
I found the installation of the garbage-disposer a bit challenging as I had to cut the PVC drain pipe to a shorter length to make room for the unit. However, I was able to complete the installation in 1 hour and 15 minutes without too much hassle.
