About Pro-LifT Mechanic Plastic Creeper 36 Inch - Blow Molded Ergonomic HDPE Body
Overall Feedback:
97% positive
97% liked the adjustable height and position, but 3% found it difficult to adjust
I find it useless to store the handle on the opposite side of the headrest. This indicates that the garage-shop-creepers lack proper adjustability and customization.
96% found it comfortable to use for extended periods, but 4% experienced discomfort in the leg area
This creeper is a great option as it is pretty comfortable, easy-to-use and very low to the ground.
I have used both this creeper and a Pittsburg brand creeper from Harbor Freight and found that this creeper is not as sturdy as the Pittsburg brand creeper, but still a fair value at any price under $35.
96% appreciated the solid build quality, though 4% experienced some wear and tear
The creeper works fine without any issues of breaking or malfunctioning, despite being made of cheap plastic.
I was surprised at how well the creeper performed. It is comfortable, easy to use, and very low to the ground, making it a great option for a creeper.
I have noticed that the product has two wheels held on by only one mount point, indicating poor durability and build quality.
After using the item for just 30 minutes on the asphalt driveway, the wheels were shredded. This indicates poor durability and build quality of the product.
I applied some grease to the casters to make them roll smoothly.
95% found it easy to assemble and maintain, but 5% experienced issues with finding replacement parts
I found the creeper to be comfortable, easy to use and low to the ground, making it a great option for a creeper.
I found the product to perform as expected.
I greased the bearings with general purpose grease and lubed the wheel axles with silicon spray upon arrival. It was easy for me to assemble and maintain the garage shop creeper.
The product requires specific parts to attach the wheels and my set was short of two screws and one nut.
After using the item for just 30 minutes on an asphalt driveway, I noticed that the wheels were shredded. This suggests that the product may require frequent maintenance due to its lack of durability.
97% praised its ease of movement, though 3% found it difficult to maneuver in tight spaces
I tested the creeper and found it to be a sturdy, comfortable and positive addition to my tools and DIY gadgets.
I am dissatisfied with the mobility and maneuverability of the product, especially the placement of the wheels, which affects my experience as a tall person.
I applied grease to all the casters to make them roll smoothly as they were flimsy.
After just 30 minutes of use on the driveway, the wheels were damaged and shredded as if they had been slammed on the pavement all day.
84% liked the quiet and smooth operation, though 16% experienced some rattling and vibration
I did not mention anything about the noise level and vibration of the garage-shop-creepers.
I saw the ball bearings from one of the casters on the floor while using the creeper.
I am concerned about the durability of the wheels and how they will look if used continuously for a few weeks.
As soon as I tried to use the creeper, the open ball bearing swivels on 3 of the 6 casters started falling apart.
96% praised for its stability and balance, while 4% experienced tipping issues
The handle on the bottom is perfectly placed, making it easy to grab, move, or put away.
While being underneath both sides of the truck, the product helped me greatly, which is a stressful task.
I am fine using the creeper even though I am 62 years old and 200lbs.
I have complained that the bottom wheels of the creeper are not close enough to the edge, causing it to tip up when I sit on the bottom edge to get my head in the right place.
Rephrased: The creeper tips up when I sit on the bottom edge to get my head in the right place because the bottom wheels are not close enough to the edge.
97% liked the compact storage design, but 3% found it heavy to carry
The handle on the bottom is perfectly placed, making it easy to move or put away.
This creeper is easy to assemble and works as it should. All the wheels are in working order and seem sturdy.
When storing it, I have to put the headrest down towards the ground because the handle is not on the headrest side, making it useless.
87% appreciated the high weight capacity

The handle on the bottom is perfectly placed for easy movement and storage.

I customized this creeper by stripping the cushion off and pop riveting some 20 gauge sheet metal to it to make an ultra low profile closet shuttle for my 8.5 quart ninja foodie. I am satisfied with the result.
