I experienced a power failure and the unit lost its software configured stop point, despite successful use of the backup battery.

I had to move the ceiling mounting bracket closer to the door, but it was compatible.
With the additional connectivity, I can operate the garage-door-opener using the homelink feature inside my vehicle, which is very convenient.

I found installation of the garage-door-opener relatively easy with basic tools and a drill. The documentation was very good and there were videos and a Bild app available to identify every part while rotating the images in 3D. Overall, I am satisfied with the ease of installation.
The assembly was easy, but it took nearly 8 hours to remove and install, including all the wiring and programming.

I compared the noise level of the new garage-door-opener with the old one. The old one was so noisy that I could barely hear my own voice while in operation. But, the new one is so much quieter that I can't even hear it from inside the house.
The garage-door-opener is so quiet that I have to listen intently from the master bedroom to detect any sound. If the TV is on, I miss it entirely.

The remote control range of the Genie garage-door-opener is very limited. I used to be able to open my garage from a few houses away with my Chamberlain, but with the Genie, I need to be sitting in front of my door.

I installed the safety sensors myself and faced interference between doors. I missed the instructions to install the transmitters and receiver sensors properly. I left the force test 2x4 between the two inboard sensors, where it shielded the two doors sensor from each other. When I moved the board, one of the inboard sensors LED blinked, indicating an error. I relocated the sensors as recommended in the manual. Based on my experience, I can say that installing the sensors can be challenging.
