I found that the garage door opener works well, is very quiet, and moves my 16-ft door smoothly. I was also able to program the built-in HomeLink door opener in my Subaru to operate with it.
I am unable to use quality 3rd party door sensors such as the CPS-UN4 as Genie has some kind of proprietary 1 wire interface vs backwards compatibility with standard current detect switch system.

The door sensors are unreliable and direct sunlight makes the unit inoperable. The beam weakens by the 2nd year and the optical sensors need replacement. The LED emitter also loses power.
