Homelink is not backward compatible. The opener requires a Homelink Bridge to program Homelink mirror transmitters of V3 (2000-2015) and uses Homelink V4 or 5.

I was alerted by the security motion activated camera when a stray dog entered my garage and started chewing on some stuff. I chased the dog out before it could cause any damage, which shows the safety sensors of the garage-door-opener worked effectively.
I am dissatisfied with the safety sensors of my garage-door-opener. They are worse than my old ones and even a flick of sunshine makes them not work. I had to purchase a sun shade for the sensors, which was an added cost.
