About Chamberlain B6713T Smart Advanced Corner LED Lighting
Overall Feedback:
88% positive
81% found it compatible, however 19% faced problems
I used the stock installation wire without shielded cabling or ferrite chokes, and my remotes can open the door from 40 feet away. The wires going to the safety sensors run directly over a large LED fixture.
The rail and motor wall and ceiling mounts from my previous Sears Craftsman were compatible and did not require any changes.
I invested in a smart garage door opener with the expectation of integrating it with my smart-home ecosystem. However, the company disabled access for 'non-partnered' integrations, which has caused inconvenience to me.
The product is not compatible with Verizon or AT&T internet, so it's not worth spending extra money on a 'Smart' door opener.
85% appreciated the installation ease
I received a unit that came with everything needed for installation, including step by step instructions and a scan link to the video. It was easy to pause and resume the video for each step.
87% were satisfied with remote control range
I was able to open the door from 40 away using the stock installation wire with no shielded cabling or ferrite chokes, indicating that the garage-door-opener has a good remote control range.
69% were impressed with safety sensors, yet 31% encountered issues
I am dissatisfied with the safety sensor brackets of the garage-door-opener. They are almost a complete fail.
80% appreciated the speed
The garage door opener is a bit slow in raising and lowering the door, but it doesn't bother me. It takes about 10-12 seconds to complete the task, which is not bad.
I used the stock installation wire without shielded cabling or ferrite chokes, and my remotes can open the door from 40 feet away. The wires going to the safety sensors run directly over a large LED fixture.
I was surprised to see that the backup battery works great and the garage door opener can work without street power. Based on my experience, I can say that the garage door opener is reliable.
