I used the stock installation wire without shielded cabling or ferrite chokes, and my remotes can open the door from 40 feet away. The wires going to the safety sensors run directly over a large LED fixture.
The rail and motor wall and ceiling mounts from my previous Sears Craftsman were compatible and did not require any changes.
I invested in a smart garage door opener with the expectation of integrating it with my smart-home ecosystem. However, the company disabled access for 'non-partnered' integrations, which has caused inconvenience to me.
The product is not compatible with Verizon or AT&T internet, so it's not worth spending extra money on a 'Smart' door opener.
