I was surprised to see that the backup battery works great and the garage door opener can work without street power. Based on my experience, I can say that the garage door opener is reliable.
69% found it compatible, however 31% faced problems
Installation is super easy if you have an existing belt drive Chamberlain, Liftmaster, or Craftsman GDO, as the rail/belt system should be the same and not need replacement if still in good working order.
I advise not activating the opener with myQ if you plan to use Alarm.com integration. The opener can only be activated with one system at a time. I learned this the hard way and had to delete the opener from myQ before integrating it with Alarm.com.

Being able to open/close garage door using my smartphone from anywhere in the world or get instant notifications is useful, but it opens additional attack vectors that may compromise security of my home.
