Adding a $50, 2 GB GPU was tricky for me. The screen wouldn't turn on after plugging it in. I had to remove the GPU, reset the CMOS battery, boot into safe mode, remove the default Intel graphics driver, install the new driver, and then reinstall the GPU. It works well now.
