About HP Pro Tower 290 G9 Business Desktop
Overall Feedback:
67% positive
72% appreciated the premium build quality, while 28% found it lacking
There is no internal speaker, which is a negative feedback from me regarding the build quality of gaming-tower-computers.
I had to replace the memory as it was conflicting with the mother board.
I ordered the computer's hard drive in December 2023, but it turned out to be bad.
75% liked the numerous connectivity options, but 25% found them limited
I was able to use 1 screen and transfer everything by internet with the help of adapters and switches sold by Amazon.
I faced an issue with the connectivity options as I use dual monitors and there is only one HDMI spot, so I had to hook the second monitor up via a VGA cable. It was easily done but slightly annoying.
I took my computer to an authorized HP service center and was informed that it required a new motherboard.
66% appreciated the stunning graphics performance, while 34% experienced frame rate issues
I am not a gamer, so I cannot provide any input on the graphics performance of the computer.
I faced issues with the dual monitors not working with HDMI cables as there is only one slot. I had to use the VGA cable till I can get a new graphics card installed with dual HDMI ports.
65% liked the customizable lighting and sleek design, but 35% found it gaudy
I did not mention anything about the lighting and aesthetics of the gaming-tower-computers.
74% liked the generous memory and storage capacity, while 26% found it insufficient
I had to replace the memory as it was conflicting with the motherboard.
69% praised for its whisper-quiet operation, though 31% found it noisy
I did not mention the noise level of the gaming-tower-computers.
I started getting BSOD with memory management errors.
I feel that the gaming-tower-computer has poor build quality as it is running extremely slow.
