About SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless Gaming Mouse
67% appreciated the long battery life, though 33% experienced quick drain
The battery life is good but only achievable in high-efficiency mode. In gaming mode with a polling rate of 1000mhz and full day use, the mouse will last only up to a week.
The battery life is not as advertised.
78% liked the customizable buttons, but 22% found the software clunky
The software to customize and enable other features is no longer supported, which is one of the pivotal attractions of gaming mice. I must now look for external solutions.
71% praised the durable cable, but 29% experienced signal loss
I have noticed an issue with the cable quality of my gaming-mouse. Outside of games, it is not uncommon for me to click on something but the moment of my left clicking causes the mouse to move and drags the cursor off the button/tab/item which in many instances negates the click in the first place. Doing things like closing windows or clicking a menu item in a games UI doesn't work because the click is canceled by my cursor dragging off the button before releasing. This issue is not related to the performance of the mouse in game. It is an issue that I have faced personally while using the mouse. Based on my experience, I can say that the mouse has this issue.
75% appreciated the seamless dpi switching
I have not experienced such smooth cursor movement and good DPI in any other wireless mouse before.
67% appreciated the comfortable grip, though 33% found it too small
The mouse is solid, smooth, responsive, ergonomic and has just enough weight to move fluidly with the lightest touch.
The Rival 600 feels like a more premium mouse with its soft-touch coating and nice rubber grips.
The right side of the mouse is sloped outward, making it difficult to hold with a claw grip. The side buttons also get in the way of the thumb in this hold.
76% liked the customizable led lighting, but 24% found it too bright
I find the lack of software support for customization and lighting options to be a drawback of this mouse.
67% praised the intuitive software, while 33% found it buggy
I like that the software is available for all platforms except Linux.
I have used various SteelSeries products and found them to be of good value for the price and features, except for the increasingly bloated software.
Customizing and enabling other features through the software is no longer supported or easily obtainable.
I am dissatisfied with the software support as it is artificial and limited for a significant portion of it.

70% liked the balanced weight distribution, but 30% found it too heavy
The mouse has different weight settings.
The mouse is comfortable for me to use due to my small hands.
This mouse is too long and heavy for me, and it is smaller than the Steelseries Sensei 310 & Sensei Ten.
I find this mouse too large and uncomfortable to use even in a palm grip, suggesting that its weight and balance are unsuitable for most users.
