About Redragon M612 PRO RGB Gaming Mouse
77% appreciated the long battery life, though 23% experienced quick drain
I have found that the battery life of this gaming mouse is really long and it lasts for a really long time in either wireless mode, bluetooth or 2.4g RF.
I am happy with the overall performance of the mouse and how it has helped my son with his gaming experience.
I did not mention anything about the battery life of the mouse.
82% liked the customizable buttons, but 18% found the software clunky
I love the 11 programmable buttons on my mouse. I have been remapping them to my favorite in-game actions and creating macros for quicker execution. The rapid fire function and side macro buttons have definitely upped my game.
I am disappointed with the mouse as it is a waste of time and money. The buttons are not able to retain a value, making it impossible to create shortcuts in games with the button.
84% praised the durable cable, but 16% experienced signal loss
The braided cable is nice but not too soft, resulting in bigger drag resistance. The ideal cable should be very soft so that it is not felt while playing.
The braided cable is extremely stiff and can drag along things on the desk.
81% appreciated the seamless dpi switching, though 19% found it slow
The default cycle for DPI switching is between 500 and 4000.
82% appreciated the comfortable grip, though 18% found it too small
The ergonomic design of this mouse feels great in my hand with a frosted coating that is comfortable and keeps fingerprints at bay. The textured left side gives me a solid grip during intense gaming sessions, and I no longer experience hand cramps even after hours of playing.
The ergonomics of the mouse are not suitable for me. The hump is higher than most mice relative to the height of the buttons in the front, causing my fingers to rest further to the right. It also feels a bit wonky.
85% praised for its pinpoint accuracy, while 15% experienced jittery movement
I find the accuracy of the mouse to be good and I like its appearance.
I accidentally press the speed adjusting button and have to cycle through to what feels right rather than go by color.
I find the mouse to be sluggish and not very crisp or accurate.
80% praised the intuitive software, while 20% found it buggy
I have noticed that my son has been remapping the buttons to his favorite in-game actions and creating macros for quicker execution, which indicates that the software support for the gaming mouse is good. Rephrased: My son has been remapping the buttons to his favorite in-game actions and creating macros for quicker execution, indicating good software support for the gaming mouse.
I can fine tune both the DPI and the transmission rate through onboard buttons and even finer using the mouse's companion software, which was a helpful surprise.
The software for my mouse does not have any drivers in it.
81% liked the balanced weight distribution
The mouse has a good weight - not too light, not too heavy, but just right.
Using the mouse on a mouse pad feels smooth, but it is heavy.
