About Razer Orochi V2 Mobile Wireless Gaming Mouse
Overall Feedback:
94% positive
91% appreciated the long battery life
After almost constant use for 3 months, my mouse still has a nearly full battery life, it's quite insane.
The Orochi V2 has exceptional battery life and can last for multiple days of regular use without needing a recharge.
69% liked the customizable buttons
I like the size of the thumb buttons and wish more people made them thin like the Orochi.
I did not need to remap anything to make it work the same as my previous mouse, indicating that the button customization is good.
76% praised the durable cable
The wireless connectivity of Orochi V2 is a game-changer. I experienced zero lag or interruptions during intense gaming sessions.
87% appreciated the seamless dpi switching, though 13% found it slow
I have noticed that the mouse over-averages the poll counts at each report, resulting in high DPI variance. Additionally, 800dpi on this mouse feels more like 900dpi.
93% appreciated the comfortable grip, though 7% found it too small
The mouse is ergonomically perfect for me, but I cannot recommend it until they fix the wireless issues and use a better sensor.
94% praised for its pinpoint accuracy
The sensor delivers impressive precision and accuracy in tracking.
Tracking is smooth and consistent.
75% praised the intuitive software, while 25% found it buggy
I can customize the mouse's sensitivity, button assignments, and lighting effects to suit my gaming preferences using the Razer Synapse software.
If the product didn't have a good configuration software, I would have given it a demerit, but it didn't affect me at the end of the day.
I found the customer support unhelpful and they asked for an unreasonable amount of information to troubleshoot the issue.
I am dissatisfied with the software support of my gaming-mouse, specifically the wireless issues and the need for a better sensor.
I initially had doubts about switching to a wireless mouse for competitive gaming, but the Viper Ultimate has dispelled all my doubts with its hyperspeed wireless connectivity and 70-hour battery life. The RGB charging dock is also a stylish addition to my gaming setup.
I was disappointed with the battery life of my Razer DeathAdder Elite mouse as it had an issue in less than 2 years, compared to my previous Logitech mouse which lasted for nearly 10 years.
The cable quality is not good as it is USB Type-A instead of USB Type-C.
