About Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed Wireless MMO Gaming Mouse
Overall Feedback:
77% positive
76% appreciated the long battery life
I like this mouse better because it does not have a rechargeable battery, but I get many hours out of a battery and do not have to dock it or hook it up to charge after every session. I have been using the same lithium battery for a week and it is still at 100% battery life.
64% praised the durable cable, but 36% experienced signal loss
I have used the mouse with the provided USB cord, 2.4ghz wireless USB dongle, and Bluetooth wireless function.
The best part of this mouse is that it is truly wireless and powered by a single AA.
After using the mouse for less than 2 months under moderate usage, one button has had its paint completely worn off.
68% appreciated the comfortable grip, though 32% found it too small
The mouse has well-designed ergonomics, making it comfortable for the hand to rest on.
The ergonomics of the gaming-mouse feel weird and out of place for my large hands.
79% liked the customizable led lighting, but 21% found it too bright
I love the customizable scroll wheel feature and hope that Razer adds it to their other mouse as it is game-changing.
The lighting on this mouse is minimal and only comes out of the logo that my hand covers while I use it. The only other place that lights up is the large numpad panel. The other two panels do not have any lights on the buttons.
The software limits my customization capability of the scroll wheel by only offering one slot for custom settings.
69% praised the intuitive software, while 31% found it buggy
Razer Synapse software is much better than Logitech G Hub software and it makes creating profiles for my mouse much easier than with my previous mouse.
The software support for my mouse is extremely inconsistent and underdeveloped.
To get software support, I need to keep Razer Synapse running all the time to control the color of my mouse.

69% liked the balanced weight distribution, but 31% found it too heavy
The weight of the mouse is substantial but not heavy.
I have noticed that MMO mice are usually heavy, but this one is the heaviest I have used.
I like this mouse better because it does not have a rechargeable battery, but I get many hours out of a battery and do not have to dock it or hook it up to charge after every session. I have been using the same lithium battery for a week and it is still at 100% battery life.
I am surprised that the mouse battery life is not as long as expected, despite the fact that mice are low power. I expected the components to last longer than two years. I have used the mouse close to 3,650 hours.
Rephrased: Despite being low power, I am surprised that the mouse battery life is not as long as expected. I expected the components to last longer than two years, considering I have used the mouse close to 3,650 hours.
I initially had doubts about switching to a wireless mouse for competitive gaming, but the Viper Ultimate has dispelled all my doubts with its hyperspeed wireless connectivity and 70-hour battery life. The RGB charging dock is also a stylish addition to my gaming setup.
After almost constant use for 3 months, my mouse still has a nearly full battery life, it's quite insane.
