About Razer Naga Pro - Modular Wireless Gaming Mouse
Overall Feedback:
71% positive
65% appreciated the long battery life, though 35% experienced quick drain
I need to recharge the mouse overnight after 2 days of heavy use.
70% liked the customizable buttons
I primarily use the 6 button interchangeable side plate, but the 16 button plate is also more comfortable and easier to distinguish individual buttons compared to Corsair.
65% appreciated the comfortable grip, though 35% found it too small
I find the mouse more comfortable to use, but it's a personal preference.
I find the middle scroll wheel flimsy, but it may appeal to some.
89% liked the customizable led lighting
For battery performance, I use the 12-key side panel, 1000Hz (max) polling rate, and lighting usually all white at 255-255-255 at 20% brightness.
68% praised the intuitive software, while 32% found it buggy
I do not like the Razer Synapse software as it works but feels bloated.
I have faced issues with the software support of the mouse. I installed the software which spent 20 minutes trying to locate the mouse and still, the mouse was very jumpy. I also tried connecting it via Bluetooth which was better but still pretty shocking. I even tried playing a game of Overwatch on Bluetooth and it was unplayable. The software is very bad and has been a problem for a long time. The company is still selling the wireless model even though they know it has issues.
I have compared the software and found that Corsair Icue occasionally fails to detect the mouse, while profile swapping with Razer's Synapse software is unreliable.
69% liked the balanced weight distribution, but 31% found it too heavy
I like this mouse better because it does not have a rechargeable battery, but I get many hours out of a battery and do not have to dock it or hook it up to charge after every session. I have been using the same lithium battery for a week and it is still at 100% battery life.
I was disappointed with the battery life of my Razer DeathAdder Elite mouse as it had an issue in less than 2 years, compared to my previous Logitech mouse which lasted for nearly 10 years.
