About Razer DeathAdder V3 Wired Gaming Mouse
Overall Feedback:
84% positive
63% appreciated the long battery life, though 37% experienced quick drain
I gave a 4-star review because of a couple of reasons.
There is a problem with my mouse as the polling rate is lower than expected whenever I start or restart my computer.
73% liked the customizable buttons, but 27% found the software clunky
I love the shape, buttons and clicks of this mouse based on my personal experience.
I have complained that the wheel mouse button failed after just 15 days of constant use, indicating a lack of durability and reliability in the button customization of my gaming mouse.
79% praised the durable cable, but 21% experienced signal loss
The cable quality of this mouse is good, not the best I have ever used but not noticeably stiff either.
I have complained about the cable defect of my mouse. The portion of the cable that enters the mouse is lifted at all times and cannot be bent back in place.
71% appreciated the seamless dpi switching, though 29% found it slow
After 15 days of constant use, the wheel mouse button started failing.
77% appreciated the comfortable grip, though 23% found it too small
The mouse feet are incredibly smooth and the optical switches feel nice, although not quite as crisp as my Viper V2 Pro.
The scroll wheel's ergonomic design is not great as it protrudes from the rest of the shell more than any other mouse I have had before, which sometimes makes me middle-click when trying to scroll down.
I thought I needed this mouse because of my big hands, but even for me, the mouse was too big and I was forced to use a palm grip instead of a hybrid claw grip.
88% praised for its pinpoint accuracy
I have noticed that the sensor of this gaming mouse has a notable advantage in micro-adjusting and overall fluidity.
The sensor of this gaming mouse has a notable advantage in micro-adjusting and overall fluidity.
66% praised the intuitive software, while 34% found it buggy
If we install the software, we can adjust the polling rate up to 8k, which is about 4x faster than most other extremely high-end mice.
I chose the wired version for its higher 4k hz polling rate, which has now been updated to 8k with firmware.
It's a common issue that the company hides help for fixing issues on their site.
84% liked the balanced weight distribution, but 16% found it too heavy
The mouse is lightweight and the bottom slides are slippery.
While standing and trying to click on something, using the mouse is almost an inconvenience due to its light weight.
I was disappointed with the battery life of my Razer DeathAdder Elite mouse as it had an issue in less than 2 years, compared to my previous Logitech mouse which lasted for nearly 10 years.
I like this mouse better because it does not have a rechargeable battery, but I get many hours out of a battery and do not have to dock it or hook it up to charge after every session. I have been using the same lithium battery for a week and it is still at 100% battery life.
I wish the mouse was a bit heavier, but I am satisfied with it considering the price.
