With everyday use, the Razer mouse has a battery life of about a week and auto wakes itself when moved, like a wired mouse.
I find that the biggest issue with the mouse is that it burns through batteries really fast, like obnoxiously so. I need to change batteries every two weeks or so, or else have the low battery flashing at me constantly.

The mouse has a good size for my hand and a nice ergonomic design. I haven't experienced any wrist issues personally, despite having fairly stiff joints.
Despite not liking the aesthetics or branding, the overall build quality, ergonomics, and responsiveness of the mouse are good.
I find the mouse uncomfortable to hold as it lacks ergonomics. There is no curve for the ring finger and pinky to rest, making it awkward in the hand.

Using AAA batteries could result in a slightly lighter weight and some people may prefer the feel with the lighter weight.
This mouse is very light weight at around 82g compared to the basilisk which is 92g. When you have such a light weight mouse and you can not grip it correctly, it tends to get away from you.
