About Razer DeathAdder v2 Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse
Overall Feedback:
92% positive
84% appreciated the long battery life
I have been using the device for weeks on a single charge and the battery life is excellent.
The battery life of this mouse is pretty good. I charge it about once a week with moderate gaming and web surfing. The battery is sealed inside the mouse, so it is not replaceable.
The battery life could be better, but I feel spoiled compared to a decade ago when wireless mice weren't even an option for gamers.
89% liked the customizable buttons
The buttons on the side of my mouse have a good feel and a light clickiness to them.
82% praised the durable cable, but 18% experienced signal loss
I appreciate the recessed charging port, which supports the micro USB connector when plugged in for charging.
The new cable is shorter, fatter, and has a sheath that makes it look thicker than the Elite.
Upon first plugging in the mouse, the computer pops up with an install for synapse and slows my computer down.
79% appreciated the seamless dpi switching
I appreciate the DPI adjustment buttons, which allow me to set things up upon first use, but I do not generally change the DPI on my mouse once I get used to it.
I can make precise movements and land headshots with ease thanks to the highly accurate 20K DPI sensor of my mouse.
90% appreciated the comfortable grip
Initially, I found the ergonomic design of the Razer mouse weird in hand, but after using it for two days, I chose it over G Pro.
For 8+ hour workdays or gaming sessions, the mouse has good ergonomics, but the eyes will hurt before the hand.
The mouse has a great ergonomic design and is wireless. The software is bad, but there is an easy workaround.
I now have a better grip on the mouse while gaming due to the grippy pads around the sides.
The v2 has a better side-grip design compared to the Elite, with a textured grip on the entire side-panel.
95% praised for its pinpoint accuracy
The accuracy of this mouse is insane with a 20K DPI sensor that feels like it reads my mind, allowing me to land headshots with pixel-perfect precision.
The slick pads on the bottom of my mouse have good surface area, allowing it to glide with support and last longer.
74% praised the intuitive software, while 26% found it buggy
I am dissatisfied with the software support of my gaming-mouse. I can only assume that the product is still in beta.
86% liked the balanced weight distribution, but 14% found it too heavy
I compared the weight of this mouse with the Deathadder 2013 and it is lighter by 20 or so grams.
I feel that the mouse moves better and is lighter due to its superior mouse feet compared to the G pro.
I find the main left and right buttons of the mouse a bit heavy for my preference, especially compared to my wired Deathadder that I've had for a while.
The mouse has a battery life of up to 95 hours on a single charge, so I never have to worry about running out of juice in the middle of a gaming session.
I was disappointed with the battery life of my Razer DeathAdder Elite mouse as it had an issue in less than 2 years, compared to my previous Logitech mouse which lasted for nearly 10 years.
