About Razer Basilisk V3 Customizable Ergonomic Gaming Mouse
67% appreciated the long battery life, though 33% experienced quick drain
I am surprised that the mouse battery life is not as long as expected, despite the fact that mice are low power. I expected the components to last longer than two years. I have used the mouse close to 3,650 hours. Rephrased: Despite being low power, I am surprised that the mouse battery life is not as long as expected. 91% liked the customizable buttons, but 9% found the software clunky
I noticed that the sensitivity clutch button has been redesigned and it is a significant downgrade. The sensitivity clutch button has been redesigned and it is a significant downgrade.
I dislike the upgraded switches of the buttons. I prefer the way the V2 felt and sounded better. The thumb buttons for forward/back or buttons 3 and 4, feel and sound different from each other, which really annoys me. The new version of the button 5 or the sniper button, feels worse than the V2 for sure. It has farther travel distance, feels more mushy, and does not press smoothly. Pressing it feels like the bottom side of the button angles down more than the top.
75% praised the durable cable, but 25% experienced signal loss
I had to drag my mouse out of my long mouse pad to move the tracker on the screen from left to right.
76% appreciated the comfortable grip, though 24% found it too small
I find the mouse difficult to use despite its smooth surface.
85% liked the customizable led lighting, but 15% found it too bright
I like the changes to the scroll wheel and the LED zones on the bottom of the mouse, which shows my positive sentiment towards the LED customization feature of the gaming-mouse.
I cannot save lighting profiles to the mouse's internal memory.
72% praised for its pinpoint accuracy, while 28% experienced jittery movement
The aim button is useful for lining up shots in games or for precision movement in other applications.
I have noticed that the mouse tracks properly only on specific surfaces, excluding a mouse pad.
The sensitivity clutch button has been redesigned and it is a significant downgrade.
69% praised the intuitive software, while 31% found it buggy
It's annoying that the lighting settings cannot be saved along with button configs.
I found out that the Razer software is causing high startup impact and occupying over 150mb of memory. Glasswire software alerted me to ongoing internet traffic from Razer software.
I tried to set up the mouse on my Mac but it didn't work well.
I am experiencing issues with my mouse and looking to replace it. The mouse is not matching the software RGB schemes as correctly as the keyboard and scrolling is also suffering these days.
76% liked the balanced weight distribution
I find the mouse very comfortable with a light to medium weight compared to wireless battery chargeable mice.
